The hotel offered convenient, secured underground parking. My children and I found the location to be really good. Short walks to the main tourist areas were frequent. Getting into central areas was just two or three bus stops away.
I found the hot food at breakfast underwhelming. The bacon was scraggy and badly cooked. Sausages were undercooked. Eggs were overcooked to a solid, grey state. Tomatoes were not cooked thoroughly and only lukewarm. I paid extra for this.

the staff were friendly. the room accommodated my family perfectly for our short stay. the hotel's location made getting to most attractions easy. i found the bottled water available on our floor useful.
the breakfast was not cleared quickly. at dinner, i found the food very expensive. it was impossible to eat enough at breakfast to justify the price of £21 per person.
